Anouk van Oss
From her teenage years, Anouk has made sustainability a priority and actively sought ways to contribute to it. As such, she started working on due diligence during her internship at the Agreement for Sustainable Garments and Textiles at the Social and Economic Council in The Hague. There, she supported and assessed both big and small garments and textiles companies on their due diligence performance. After moving to Brussels, she continued working on due diligence and responsible business conduct at a sustainability consultancy and an NGO that focusses on responsible sourcing of minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Being Brussels-based, she attends as many events about responsible business conduct, due diligence and corresponding EU legislation as possible. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations with a specialisation on Global Conflict in the Modern Era from Leiden University in the Netherlands.
